The English musician Nathan James Sykes was born on 18/04/1993 in Gloucester, England. He is a singer, songwriter and television star and was known by the boy band The Wanted, before he launched a successful solo career.
Nathan Sykes grew up in a very musical environment. His mother Karen worked as a music teacher and has taken him as a toddler playing on her great passion music zoom. Age of six sang Nathan, four years later he won first prizes, including the famous Britney Spears Karaoke competition.
In 2004 he took part in the preliminary round of the English Euro Vision Song Contest and reached an excellent third place. He performed the song "Born to Dance" and had to end up just Cory Spedding and Andrew Merry beaten. A few years later he participated in the competition "Live and Unsigned" part.
The breakthrough for his career as a musician experienced Nathan Sykes, 2009, at the age of 16 when he was cast as the youngest member of the boy band The Wanted. On the side of Max A. George, Siva Kaneswaran, Tom Parker and Jay McGuiness he got off to a meteoric rise, and became in an instant the great teen heartthrob.
