The Secret Sisters are audible authentic in their exact replica of the tight vocal harmonies of vocal ensembles of the 1950s, the sound of the Everly Brothers and Andrews Sisters. Growing up, they are well protected, amid the American Bible Belt, in an archetypal Southern family in northern Alabama. "We lived in an extended family, have grown our own food, spent the weekend with all our cousins, went to church," describe your childhood. Music was a fundamental part of their lives. Their close-knit harmonies came all by itself. "Singing was not something we practiced," says Lydia. "Many people in the South can sing very well, because they go to church.
